Terms & Conditions
Effective August 2026
By purchasing a Travel Gym pass or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Together with our Privacy Policy they form the agreement between you and Travel Gym Pty Ltd.
1. Who we are
Travel Gym is operated by Travel Gym Pty Ltd, an Australian company registered in New South Wales. Reach us at support@travelgym.com.au.
2. The service
Travel Gym sells short-term gym passes that grant the pass-holder check-in access to participating partner gyms during the pass window. Travel Gym does not operate the gyms itself — we facilitate check-in at independent partner facilities. Each partner gym remains responsible for the operation of its premises, facilities, staff, and equipment.
3. Passes
Passes are offered in 1-day, 3-day, 7-day, and 14-day durations. Each pass grants a number of check-ins to be used within a flexible window, both stated on the pass product page.
Passes are non-transferable and tied to the email address used at purchase. You pick a start date at checkout; the start date cannot be changed after purchase. Passes expire at the end of their window whether or not all check-ins have been used. Passes are non refundable.
4. Health and safety
Before your first purchase, you must complete the Adult Pre-Exercise Screening System (APSS) Stage 1 questionnaire honestly and accurately. Providing false or misleading information may result in your pass being cancelled without refund.
Travel Gym is available to adults 18 years and over, and to 16 and 17 year-olds with express consent from a parent or guardian. Travel Gym is not available to anyone under 16.
Exercise carries inherent risk. By using your pass you accept that Travel Gym and its partner gyms are not liable for injuries arising from your voluntary participation in physical activity, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
5. Partner gym terms & on-premises rules
When you check in at a Travel Gym partner facility you agree to be bound by that gym's own Membership Terms & Conditions, Acknowledgement, Release & Assumption of Risk, House Rules, and Conditions of Entry, as if you were one of that gym's members, for the duration of your visit.
For the pilot phase, this specifically includes Gym on King's Membership Terms & Conditions (v1.5, January 2026, or any subsequent version in force at time of check-in). By agreeing to these Travel Gym Terms & Conditions and by using your pass at Gym on King, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept Gym on King's Membership Terms & Conditions — including the Warning, Exclusion of Liability, and Release & Indemnity contained in clauses 12 and 26 of that document, and the sauna waiver where applicable.
The partner gym may add additional facility-specific waivers (for example, sauna use). You agree to complete these on request when using the applicable facility.
6. Payments
Passes are paid for at time of purchase via our Shopify checkout. All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST. Payment card details are handled by Shopify Payments and their card processors — we do not store card numbers.
7. Refunds
Passes are non-refundable once the start date is locked in. In exceptional circumstances (medical emergency, bereavement, or similar) contact support@travelgym.com.au and we may offer a partial credit at our discretion. Rights under Australian Consumer Law are always honoured.
8. Data privacy
We handle personal and sensitive information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
9. Rules of use
When using your Travel Gym pass at a partner gym you agree to:
- Follow all partner-gym rules and staff instructions.
- Present photo ID on request.
- Bring a gym towel.
- Wipe down equipment after use.
- Respect other members and staff.
- Not share, sell, or transfer your pass code.
Breaching these rules may result in your pass being cancelled without refund and future purchases being blocked. Partner gyms may also enforce their own consequences under their Terms & Conditions.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travel Gym's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for your pass. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Travel Gym is not responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, or conduct of partner gyms, their staff, contractors, or other members. Any claim arising from an incident at a partner facility must be made against that facility in accordance with its own Terms & Conditions.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, technology, or legal obligations. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of Travel Gym after an update means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
